February Half Term Fun In

February half term will be fun at East Riding libraries with activities for younger children and their families.

Jungle Dance Storytimes will be a chance to find waltzing warthogs and rock n’ rolling rhinos. The Storytimes will feature ‘Giraffes can’t Dance’ with songs, stories and craft activities.

The events are free and will be held at:

Tuesday, 18 February: Flamborough Library: 2.30pm

Tuesday, 18 February: Hornsea Library: 11am

Wednesday, 19 February: : 10.30am : Booking required

Wednesday, 19 February: Anlaby Library: 10.30am

Wednesday, 19 February: Hedon Centre: 10am : Booking required

Wednesday, 19 February: Bridlington Central Library: 10am

Wednesday, 19 February: Leven Library: 11am

Thursday, 20 February: Goole Library: 10am

Thursday, 20 February: Withernsea Library: 2.15pm

Thursday, 20 February: Hessle Centre: 10am

Thursday, 20 February: Cottingham Centre: 10.45am : Booking required

Thursday, 20 February: South Cave Library : 3pm

Thursday, 20 February: Pocela Centre, : 10.30am

Friday, 21 February: Driffield Centre: 10.30am

In addition, East Riding Libraries will also be hosting ‘Dear Zoo’ Bounce and Rhyme sessions, a chance to find out what is the perfect pet, listen to ‘Dear Zoo’ and enjoy Bounce and Rhyme, with stories, songs and fun.

These free sessions will be held at:

Thursday, 20 February: Snaith Library : 11am

Friday, 21 February: Howden Centre : 11am

Friday, 21 February: Anlaby Library : 9.30am.

For the majority of events, booking is not required, and people can simply turn up. If a booking is required, contact the library involved.
