Have you had a brilliant experience with a paramedic, music therapist or a dietician?
NHS Hull and NHS East Riding Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) are looking for you to nominate your healthcare hero for an award – but there’s a twist!
These include; paramedics, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, art therapists, drama therapists, music therapists, chiropodists/podiatrists, dieticians, operating department practitioners, orthoptists, osteopaths, prosthetists and orthotists, radiographers and speech and language therapists.
Hull and East Riding’s first AHP and Social Care Celebration Event will be held in early 2020.
It will be an opportunity to showcase the innovation and dedication of our local AHP and also social care workers and teams.
Sally Smith, East Riding of Yorkshire Clinical Commissioning Lead, said;
“This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the work of Allied Health Professionals and Social Care workers, who go above and beyond the call of duty to put the care of their patients first.”
“We are delighted to be working in partnership to create these inaugural awards, providing well-deserved recognition to the work they do. I would urge everyone to get involved and nominate their AHP and social care star for a chance to be rewarded for their hard work.”
Friends, family and patients of Hull and the East Riding’s AHP and social care professionals are now encouraged to nominate their heroes.
They can be put forward for one of six awards with nominations closing on 30 November 2019.
The award categories are:
Long Service Award,

Rising Star Award
Allied Health Professions and Social Care Support Worker of the Year

Integrated Working Award.
