Beverley Christmas Festival of Food & Drink Festival Is Back For 2019

The Beverley Christmas Festival of Food & Drink will take place later this month. The event has proved popular over the years since first being held.

Organised by Beverley Town Council and Beverley Minster the event promises to be a tasty treat in the run up to Christmas.

Held inside the stunning Beverley Minster the event features 70 stalls while festive entertainment is also provided.

Commenting on the event, Town Clerk Helen Watson said;

“Beverley Town Council would lit to welcome residents and visitors to this festive and seasonal local produce event.”

“The event promotes the best of Beverley and also showcases the high quality of local food and drink on offer in our area.”

“We would encourage people of all ages to attend, as there will be lots to see and do. As well as stocking up delicious local food and buying gifts for Christmas it is also a great opportunity to come and visit the Minster.”

Mayor Is Looking Forward To The Beverley Christmas Festival of Food & Drink 

Mayor of Beverley Cllr Duncan Jack says the council are delighted to be working with Beverley Minster. He also adds that the event plays an important role within the town.

He said;

“This will be a great festive food festival in the Minster.  Again we are delighted to be working in partnership with Beverley Minster to hold this prestigious local food event.”

“It helps to showcase the large variety and high quality of local food the area has to offer whilst also showing the Minster in all its glory.”

“The event brings in many residents and visitors to enjoy the festival day and see this magnificent building for themselves.”

“It is an important event which helps to raise funds for the future of the Minster.”

The Beverley Christmas Festival of Food & Drink takes place on Saturday 23 November. Doors open at 10am with proceedings coming to an end at 4.00pm.
