Miss Rachael’s School Of Dance have opened their own studio in . Owner of the , Rachael Mellins says the move will allow the school to expand on the number of classes offered.

Located at Waltham House on River View Road, the venue features two dance Studios. To celebrate the move those with links to dance school were invited to a special opening ceremony.

Speaking to .net Rachael said;

“In the past, we have been offering dance classes at schools and leisure centres which was good. We have always wanted our own unit we could be based at.”

“This is so we could offer more classes and do more for the children.”

“Also with the new waiting area, it makes things better for patents who bring their children to classes. Access to the studio is really easy too and there is plenty of parking.”

In all the school has about 180 pupils which range 2 years of age through to 18 years old. The school also host adult dance and based around dance.

This is the first time the school have had a place of their own, Rachael says the move is a positive one for her .

Miss Rachael’s School Of Dance To Offer Additional Classes From New Studio

Rachael will continue to teach Ballet, Tap and Modern Jazz. While the new classes to be offered will include street dance,  commercial dance and musical which is dance and drama.

She added;

“It is really good for us to have our own home. We can come in when we want and leave when we want. Now that we also have two studios rather than just the one we can also do more.”

“For example, while I am working with one group of children other teachers can be working with another group. Also, it means children can now come in and rehearse for their shows and competitions.”

“The feedback from parents so far has been really positive. As a result of us moving the school here, some have taken up additional classes.”

“It is so good to finally open the studio. It has been hard work but with the support of my partner and family we managed to make it happen.”
