To Host Wild Art For Little Ones Event

Saturday, 3 August will see two more events at the Treasure House in Beverley as part of the exciting Events Programme to accompany the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition.

Wild Art for Little Ones between 10am and 11am will be an event for Under Fives and their grown-ups – a chance to make bright,  bold wildlife art to take home, with artist Claire West. Participants should dress for mess!

This event costs £3 per child, plus a ten per cent booking fee. Accompanying adults are free.

Wild Art for Children between 1pm and 3.30pm will be for children aged five and above. (Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult). This will be an opportunity to get creative with the world’s animals, plants and landscapes. Also with artist Claire West, participants will design and make Wildlife artworks to make them think. It is essential to dress for mess!

This event costs £7 per child, plus a ten per cent booking fee. Accompanying adults are free.

Claire West regularly holds workshops in painting and printmaking to groups of all ages and abilities, the aim being “FUN’. Claire’s work has featured on many television programmes, including ‘I.T. Crowd’, ‘Life of Riley’ and ‘Eastenders’.

The Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, on loan from the Natural History Museum in London until 14 September, features 100 awe-inspiring images, from fascinating animal behaviour to breathtaking wild landscapes. Admission to the exhibition is free.
