Longcroft School and Sixth Form College and St Mary’s Primary School will take to the stage this Week.
Both schools will be performing at The Spa in Bridlington as part of the Humberside Police 2019 Rock Challenge and J Rock.
Longcroft School and Sixth Form College are showcasing their performance. Following their success in the Northern Premier Final last year they have automatically qualified for the Northern Premier Final.
While St Mary’s Primary School will be entering the event for the first time. They have been working to establish the event in their local community and school calendar.
Event Manager, Charlotte Payne says she is looking forward to the biggest Rock Challenge® and J Rock™ tour yet.
Schools From Beverley Take Their Place At Rock Challenge and J Rock
Commenting on the event which will take place on Tuesday 5 March she said;
“I look forward to seeing the wide range of performances that the schools bring to our events every year.”
“It’s always fantastic to see the hard work put in by all the schools realised on stage.”
“In 2019, we are also putting on more shows than in any other year, and I can’t wait to take on the challenge.”
“We also have five East Riding of Yorkshire teams competing in our J Rock™ Competition. Inmans Primary School will be hoping to build on their 2018 success which saw them place fourth at the Northern J Rock™ Final.”
“They won seven Awards of Excellence at the final for their performance about fairytales, entitled ‘If the shoe fits.”
Anyone wishing to attend the event can do so. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased for just £14.50.
