Beverley Christmas Festival of Food & Drink Returns For Sixth Year

Certainly, not one to miss, The Beverley Christmas Festival of Food & Drink returns this November at the iconic Beverley Minster.

Beverley Town Council who run the event has also said that this year promises to be bigger and better.

In its sixth year, The Beverley Christmas Festival of Food & Drink brings together local producers all under one roof. Medieval style entertainment and also festive songs all add to the occasion.

Mayor of Beverley, Cllr Bryan Pearson explained the importance the event plays for the town as he looked ahead to this year’s event.

“This will be the biggest indoor food festival that Beverley Minster has seen. We work in partnership with Beverley Minster to hold this prestigious local food event. It is going from strength to strength every year,” said Cllr Pearson. “It helps to showcase the large variety and high quality of local food the area has to offer whilst also showing the Minster in all its glory.”

“Also the event brings in many residents and visitors to enjoy the festival day and see this magnificent building for themselves.   It is an important event because it helps to raise funds for the future of the Minster.” 

The Beverley Christmas Festival of Food & Drink Helps Showcase Beverley

Town Clerk, Helen Watson says the event helps promote not only local food but also the best of Beverley.

“Beverley Town Council welcomes residents and visitors to this festive and seasonal local produce event,” she said. “ It promotes the best of Beverley and showcases the high quality of local food and drink on offer in our area.”

“We would encourage people of all ages to attend, as there will be lots to see and do. Also, it is a good chance to stock up delicious local food gifts for Christmas.”

The Beverley Christmas Festival of Food & Drink tales place on 24 November. Admission is free and doors will be open from 10AM to 4PM.
