Driffield Cricket Club is celebrating another sporting success – with a donation from regional developer East Yorkshire.

The donation to the junior section allowed the club to fund a selection of trophies presented to young winners at a recent presentation ceremony.

Club secretary Ian Stabler said:

“This was the first junior presentation night where all the parents were in attendance; and a very exciting and important night for our young players; we currently have about 150 junior players aged five to 18.

“We are very grateful to Linden Homes for their donation which covered the cost of the trophies.”

Linden Homes East Yorkshire is currently building a range of three and four-bedroom homes, many of which are ready to move into now, at its popular Heartlands at Spellowgate.

Heartlands is made up of 84 stylish properties, suitable for everyone from first time buyers and downsizers to young professionals, and families and those looking to step up the housing ladder.

Linden Homes is now offering the new Home Reach incentive, where purchasers can buy a share of their chosen home and pay a low monthly rent on the part they don’t buy. There is the option to buy a bigger share of a lower priced home or a smaller share of a more expensive one.

With the Linden Homes partnership you can initially purchase between 50% and 75% of your chosen home and heylo will become your landlord, granting you a 125-year lease. This means you will be able to live in your home as if you’ve bought it outright. You can buy more of your home in the future and stop paying rent on that part.
