You sense change is in the air. It’s hard to foresee the twists and turns that might affect your family life or career but at least you’re prepared for new possibilities. Keeping an open mind will help you cope with the unexpected. Your partner or best friend may want to set the pace or make decisions concerning joint finances or shared belongings. If you’re happy with their suggestions and you have other things to think about, let them take charge, temporarily.

TAURUS (April21st-May21st)

Think about it before turning down the chance to join a new group or society. Even if it isn’t your scene, have you considered what a great opportunity this could be. It might help widen your social circle and bring new interests into your life. Do take advantage. Friday could be the day you are waiting for if you’re hoping for some good news, whether this is the results of a test or interview or a letter from relatives overseas.

GEMINI (May22nd-June21st)

A friend is acting like they’re keeping something from you. When you ask questions, their answers are too vague to give any real information. They won’t be deliberately misleading you but sometimes it might feel as if that’s what they are doing. Some people find it hard to put feelings into words. Your fascination with an unusual subject will be encouraged by your family. Creative projects will benefit although there may be a quick change in plans for financial reasons.

CANCER (June22nd-July23rd)

Your appointment diary is likely to be well organised. The working week will include a full social agenda whereas time will be left clear in the weekend for private affairs. You are committed to a group or team effort for which you are playing a key role. This is your chance to make full use of your leadership potential. A discussion over finances may not go as expected. You might be reminded about a bill or someone close will reveal they have lost some money.

LEO (July24th-August23rd)

In business and finance, weigh your options carefully, then be willing to switch gears. Joining a powerful organisation could help further your career. You’re good at your job but it is also important to have an active social life. Working on behalf of a charitable organisation or helping to organise a fund-raising event will be rewarding in many ways. Check out all your financial options and make decisions that are likely to improve your current circumstances.

VIRGO (August24th-September23rd)

You will need all the determination you can muster when faced with a competitive situation. Some people aren’t aware of what you are capable of and now is the time to show them. You can do this by believing in your ability to achieve your current goals. Your achievements will make you feel you can cope with just about anything. If you’re spending a lot of your time in one place or on one project, you will soon be ready for a change of scene.

You are starting to see the results of something begun earlier in the year. This job is almost over and if you arrange it so you can devote more time to it now, it will soon be out of the way. Have you been too passive in a close partnership? If your other half seems to be making all your decisions for you, you need to start asserting yourself more. Give and take is important in all relationships and so is setting some firm boundaries.

You’re restless and in need of a change before you drive yourself to distraction. In your determination to enjoy life more, don’t overlook practical concerns. Focus on priorities and don’t get distracted by trivialities. Stay off social networking sites and let phone calls go to voice mail until you have completed your work. You might get a lot of pleasure out of buying little trinkets. You’re tempted to splash out on a special item and your excuse is that you deserve the occasional luxury.

SAGITTARIUS (November23rd-December21st)

Financial matters seem to cause nothing but frustration. Delays and disagreements stop you finalising a deal. A joint project will be more successful if you keep it restricted to a handful of people. Even though you and others can’t see eye to eye all the time, there should at least be agreement about the way joint resources or finances are handled. All you will want, as the week ends, is a chance to relax at home with your nearest and dearest.

CAPRICORN (December22nd-January20th)

A relationship has fallen into a pattern that seems to benefit the other person more than you. A friend or romantic partner is too persuasive and charmingly demanding. It’s no wonder you always seem to give in to them. You are starting to feel they never consider your needs and feelings so put yourself first for a change and don’t feel guilty about it. Some serious work or financial affairs need attention due to an unexpected difficulty. The good news is: this won’t be as negative as it first appears.

AQUARIUS (January21st-February19th)

A number of commitments make you feel restricted. Work, family and social obligations keep you from doing what you really want to do. At work, you’re being expected to follow someone else’s directions and you aren’t keen on their methods. An overbearing supervisor is getting on your nerves. Recent decisions leave you wondering whether you are doing the right thing but only time will tell. For now, don’t reveal to anyone that you’re having second thoughts about a commitment already made.

PISCES (February20th-March20th)

A disagreement over who does what and when, could set sparks flying at home. At first you will enjoy the argument as this allows you to voice your thoughts and stand up for yourself.
