Vendors wishing to apply for a stall at the hugely popular Beverley Food Festival and The Christmas Festival of Food & Drink have until the 11 April to submit their application to Beverley Town Council.
Taking place on 7 October 2018, the Beverley Food Festival is one of the biggest events on the calendar attracting over 30,000 visitors to the town, while The Christmas Festival of Food & Drink will take place on 24 November.
In a statement issued, the Town Council say;
“Building on the success of previous years, we want to ensure that these events continue to be an important date on the local food calendar.
“These Festivals have gained an excellent reputation, with last year over 30,000 residents, shoppers and visitors attending the Beverley Food Festival and over 9,000 attending the Christmas Festival of Food & Drink.”
“We believe strongly with continuing to support local food producers to sell and promote their wares to as many people as possible, to provide additional sales opportunities during the current financial climate.”
“This year there will be once again an emphasis on food education, cookery skills and encouraging people to buy local food.”
“As such, there will be the return of the popular food theatre marquee, in which top local chefs will carry out a range of cookery demonstrations using products available on the day.”
“This year we will be welcoming David Nowell (Beverley Tickton Grange) and a range of other highly-acclaimed and Michelin-starred local chefs. There will also be other Food Festival activities and attractions to keep visitors entertained.”
“Due to the high demand for stalls it is vital that you return this to us by 11th April 2018.”
“This helps us in the planning of the event, and will also ensure that your details appear in the Food Festival Guide and local food producer directory.”
“If we do not receive your application by 11th April 2018, we cannot guarantee a stall. Download your forms on the Beverley Town Council Web Site.”
