24 amateur dances, including a pair from will hit the stage later this month for the Strictly Learn to Dance final in aid of East Yorkshire’s local Hospice, Dove House.

Taking place on Friday 23rd March will be covered in glitter as the dancers show off their skills to bring us their wonderful Waltzes, perfect Paso Dobles and fantastic Foxtrots, all vying for your support to be crowned Strictly Champions 2018.

Anita Brien, Events Coordinator for , said;

“We are very excited to be bringing our Strictly Learn to Dance final back to .  It’s going to be a fab-u-lous event!”

“Our dancers have been working so hard, we want as many as possible to come and support them.” 

The dancers all have their own special stories about why they wanted to take part.  Many have experienced the exceptional care given at the hospice.

Local man is swapping his football boots for dancing shoes and will take part with his partner Emma Waudby who will dance to Shrek –I’m a Believer and also an American Smooth, to the song of Singing in the Rain.

Kayleigh Elvin who will also be taking part in memory of her mum who died at the hospice.

Speaking about Strickly Learn to Dance Kayleigh said; 

“The care she received was unbelievable and I want to be a part of raising money that can be used to give another family in my situation that experience. They took the worst time of our lives and added some happiness to it again and I will never be able to thank them enough for that.”
