Director, Mr Keith Murray, has been awarded Citizen of Honour 2018 by Bridlington town Council.

The Citizen of Honour Award which is presented to one member of the Bridlington community in March every year is decided by a majority vote at a special meeting of Bridlington town Councillors.

Keith was nominated for the award by Emma Long an employee of Solicitors who has worked with Keith for the past 17 years.

Emma said;

“Keith believes in people, he is friendly, caring and works hard to give back to the local community.”

“I was not alone in my nomination, Keith has captured many people’s hearts with his generosity and determination to make a difference.”

“He has literally raised thousands of pounds for local charity organisations and individuals by volunteering his time and money to create practical achievement and change the lives of many people.”

Emma added;

“Keith is one of life’s few great men, an extremely busy overworked business owner who takes the responsibility of providing job stability and careers to his employees to his heart, while also making time to raise money for many charities and care for his family”

Bridlington mayor, Cllr Cyril Marsburg presented Keith with the accolade.

The Bridlington council’s citizen of honour working group said;

“He always ensures he helps people with not only their legal needs but also undertaking charity work.”

“He has done so many things to help others in so many ways and a Citizen of Honour Award to Keith Murray is a thank you from the Bridlington Town Council in recognition of all the things he has done and continues to do for others in Bridlington and the local area.”

Keith Murray said;

“I am extremely shocked, happy and overwhelmed to have been chosen for this award. It has taken pride of place on my wall.”
