Enjoy A Country Walk From Etton In Late February

On Friday, 23 February, there will be a chance to enjoy a February walk along quiet country lanes and along the Hudson Way, also known as the Beverley to Market Weighton Rail Trail.

The five-mile walk will start outside the Light Dragoon pub in Etton, at 9.30am. It will be an opportunity to spot early spring flowers on the verges and up on the trees.

Some of the ground may be muddy, and walking boots are recommended.

The walk is organised by the council’s countryside access team, and is part of the Countryside Events and Walking for Health Programme 2018.
