Will Turnbull says that Beverley RUFC face another huge match this weekend as they hit the road to take on Keighley in the Northern Division.

Beverley are flying high in the league, currently in second place occupying the a playoff position knowing that every point matters in the run in.

Speaking ahead of the game, Turnbull said;

“It’s another huge game. Keighley have churned out some brilliant results the past five or six  games so it’s a game where we will again be tested.”

“We have already  had five lads drop out for due to work and injuries from last week’s squad.   This is going to make it all the harder.”

“They have a brilliant new 4G pitch and it allows you to play some great rugby on it.”

Beverley are in a rich vein of form, last weekend they not only won but earned a bonus point as they beat Moortown at .

Keighley come into the match having lost their last game though have won their previous two fixtures at home scoring seventy five points.

Six places separate the sides in the table with Beverley boasting a better stats when it comes to both points scored and points conceded.

Victory is a must with the sides around all hot on their tails in the race for the all important play off position in the table.

Last time the sides met back in October the Beavers eased to a 45-3 win as Beverley’s pace showed and they pilled on the points in the second period.

Turnbull however is mindful that making the trip with a number of players missing could pose his sides problems.

That said, Beverley will go into the game as strong favourites and should be looking to come away with a win and if all goes to plan also a bonus point.
