The O’Connor Academy of Irish Dance are looking for people in Beverley who wish to embark on dance lessons with them in Beverley.

Victoria Whincup who runs the classes says the aim of the lessons is to make Irish Dancing as fun as possible.

Explaining more about the classes and The O’Connor Academy of Irish Dance she said;

“The O’Connor Academy of Irish Dance is based in Hull, Beverley and York, under the direction of Victoria Whincup, T.C.R.G.”

“We are registered with An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha, the largest governing body for Irish Dance.”

“Our aim is to teach Irish Dancing to the best of a child’s ability and to make it an enjoyable and memorable experience for all involved.”

“Classes are held from beginner to championship level, starting from the age of three. Our classes are customised to suit each child, whether they want to compete, take part in displays or just dance for fun.”

“Here at the O’Connor Academy, we focus on teaching the traditional art of Irish Dance to boys and girls from the age of three, in a safe and friendly environment.”

“Our classes in Beverley take place each Tuesday at St. Mary’s Church Hall, North Bar Within, at 5.30pm. We are currently offering a free taster session for beginners.”

“Irish Dancing is a great way to keep fit, improve coordination and have fun.”
