An in form Football Cub return to action this weekend as they travel to to face Sculcoates Amateurs in the Humber Premier League.

Town have won their last three matches including an impressive 2-0 win last week that knocked off top spot in the Humber Premier League.

Jagger will be looking to his side to carry on with a run that has seen them win their last three games, scoring five times and conceding just once.

Speaking ahead of the game Jagger says said;

“We are looking forward to the game. After three wins on the bounce the lads are full of confidence.”

“Nathan White misses the next 3 games following his red card, however is pushing for a start after a long injury lay off and Karl Fitzgerald is back in contention.”

Up top there will be no change for Jagger in a pairing he thinks have more goals to come,  he said;

“Alex Stark has settled in well and starting to form a partnership with Matty Littlefield up top. Matty has also looked really sharp over the last two weeks and I think he’s due a goal very soon.”.

Sculcoates, one of the leagues heavy weights are just one point behind Town in the table and are also unbeaten in their last three games.

Last season’s runners up, Sculcoates have had the upper hand in recent seasons winning both of the fixtures between in the last campaign.

You have to go back to August 2014 for when a Lomas Volley  gave Town more recent win over Sculcoates, and back even further to November 2013 for when Town last beat them at Scullys ground as a Michael O’Connell Spot Kick Saves Ricardo’s Blushes.

Jagger is all too aware of how ‘tricky’ this fixture is, especially without their suspended skipper, he concluded;

“We’ve just got to maintain the standards we’ve set over the last few weeks. Scullys will be tough opponents, if we get complacent we will get beat that’s for sure.”
