Beverley Beavers u9s saw off Bridlington RUFC in their second game of the season. There was lots to praise and glimpses of brilliance throughout the game.
Given that the team have only recently got to grips with the contact game we saw barn storming runs, followed by well executed tackles, and efficient presentation of the ball.
Beverley RUFC worked exceptionally well together and much greater distribution of the ball was on show. Despite some robust opposition from a large Bridlington pack Beverley, small in numbers, dug deep and delivered an entertaining and quality performance.
Beverley was made up of Imogen Hollis, William Aspin, Henry Stephenson, James Hebb, Flynn Harwood, Alex Gorman and Joel Hardy. Player of the match was awarded to Joel Hardy for his exceptional tackles and commitment throughout the game.
