Beverley Athletic Club will be extending the hand of friendship to all as they host the 2017 Beaver Trail next month.
Taking place on 19 November, club runners and members of the community are being invited to take part in an even that spans back 18 years.
Commenting on the event, a spokesperson for the Beverley Athletic Club said;
“It’s that time of the year again when Beverley Athletic Club extends the hand of friendship to all the local running clubs and whoever would like to join us on a run or walk of the Beaver Trail.”
“There is a choice of 5, 10, 13 and 15 mile routes all of which are detailed on our club web site within the
‘Training section’ and can be accessed by visiting www.beverleyathleticclub.co.uk.”
“The route was founded by Beverley AC 18 years ago, and since then we have celebrated the route in an annual event by inviting anyone to run or walk a distance of their choice.”
“The trail follows a picturesque cross-country ‘off road’ route.”
“Route maps can be downloaded from the website but will also be available on the day and we would urge people to dress appropriately for the weather.”
“Those wishing to take part need to meet up at the Beverley leisure Centre on Sunday 19 November with the event set to start at 10AM. There will be free soup and a roll available to everyone who has taken part afterwards back at the Beverley Leisure Centre.”
“It will be great to see as many of you as possible from the local running community and we look forward to welcoming everyone for what we hope will be a fantastic day.”
