The third of the new weekly sessions – ‘Sewerby Squirrels’ – held at Sewerby Hall and Gardens on Monday mornings for under fives and their families, will be held in the Orangery from 10am -11.30am, on Monday 2 October.

All the new sessions feature activities based on seasonal events, Edwardian life, and exhibits on display at the venue.

Under Fives Learning co-ordinator Lucy Rose said:

“The ‘Sewerby Squirrels’ sessions are about much more than just playing with – we are trying to encourage very young people to come along and have fun in a museum setting, in the hope that they will develop an interest that they will keep for life.”

Sewerby Squirrels on Monday 2 October will feature a welly walk to spot colours in the gardens (in addition to the usual sea-themed toys, sensory area and quiet corner).

Participants will need to dress for the weather, as they will still be exploring, come rain or shine!
The sessions are included in normal admission prices for Sewerby Hall and Gardens whilst they apply.
