Thursday 28 September will see the pub host a night of laughter while on the Friday 29 September the Tiger Inn will be joined by local businesses for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
“It is going to be a great day. We have some fantastic local businesses supporting the cause that will all be coming down and selling homemade cakes, buns and other sweet things to raise plenty of money.”
“I am delighted that so many have got involved, the pub will donate all tea and coffee sales to the McMillan fund, so we’re hopeful people will come out and support the event.”
“Along with selling cakes, we will have a raffle, bingo, and other games taking place. There will also be some live music to add to the occasion.”
“Weather permitting most of it will take place outside in our new marquee.”
“Called ‘Mucking about for Macmillan, we have three comedians and host Jed Salisbury for night that promises much laughter. Tickets for the comedy night are £5 in advanced or £8 on the door.”
The coffee morning will start at 11AM and go on until 3PM on 29 September, everyone is welcome.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer.
