The Viewfinder Photographic Society’s (VPS) annual photography exhibition in Skidby gets underway once again at the beginning of October this year.

Figures show that visitor numbers broke all records last year, proving that the free exhibition of club members’ images is now a well-established and appreciated fixture in the community’s calendar of events.

Visitors will again have the chance to vote for their favourite photographs when doors open to the public at 10.00am on Friday, 6th October 2017 at Skidby Village Hall in East Yorkshire.

Each year, the ever-popular exhibition attracts visitors who like to come and browse the pictures, vote for their favourite images and sometimes buy a gift from one of the stalls selling cards and prints.

Once again, the Society has also been invited to take the exhibition to the in Beverley for patients and visitors to enjoy, so anyone that can’t see the exhibition in Skidby will have another opportunity later in the year.

The club, which has a waiting list, provides a place for members to learn more about their photography by being with others who share their passion.

Exhibition opening times:
Friday 6th October 2016 10.00am – 5.00pm
Saturday 7th October 2016 10.00am – 5.00pm
Sunday 8th October 2016 10.00am – 5.00pm
