Bramham Polo Academy Fight Back To Win Bronze Horse Final

Beverley polo club had their 15th year anniversary tournament. Playing for The Bronze horse trophy 5th year running.

Played over two days, James Phillips kept the crowds in touch with what was happening on the field with his fantastic commentary.

Bramham Polo Academy edged out Beverley Bumble Bees to win the Bronze Horse Final at Beverley Polo Club.

A close final saw Bramham clinched the match as they edged out the home team 5 to 4½ in a match that could have swung either way. With Beverley bumble bees not being the strongest team on paper. They put up a good fight.

Beverley bumble bees were in the lead until the third quarter where Braham got themselves back into contention.

In the final 10 seconds of the match Beverley had a chance to claim the prize with a penalty, but by some good defending by Bramham, that kept the home side out and claimed The Bronze Horse trophy.

Most valuable player – was awarded to Miriam Payne who played for the Beverley team.
