Following notification from Northern Powergrid of a planned power outage in the Skidby area on Thursday 10 August during working hours.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has announced that Skidby Mill will be closed to the public that day.
A council spokesperson said :
“We apologise in advance for this closure, but we understand the power supply could be off for over seven hours on that date.”
“We will of course be open again as normal at Skidby Mill on Friday 11 August.”
