Celebrate Yorkshire Day With Yorkshire Puddings

Yorkshire folk are being invited to celebrate Yorkshire Day with a special Yorkshire Pudding at Monks Walk.

Yorkshire Day which is Tuesday 1st August, will see the local boozer get creative with one of the most exports from the county.

For this one special night Monks Walk pub in Highgate, Beverley is offering freshly-made Yorkshire puddings with a filling of your choice (sweet or savoury) to celebrate this county’s most magnificent addition to international cuisine.

You can then follow it up with a Yorkshire-themed quiz with a guaranteed prize of £20, and there’s a cumulative bonus prize of another £30+ available if you can answer a special question. If you don’t, the extra prize goes to the RNLI.

The puddings are available from 6pm to 7.45 and the quiz starts at 8pm.
