Blue & Golds Look To Extend Winning Run As They Entertain Queensbury

The blue and golds are bidding for a fourth successive Yorkshire Premier Division win this Saturday when they entertain Queensbury for the first time in the 2.30PM kick off at the Beverley Leisure Centre.

Queensbury who are from the Bradford area were promoted from Yorkshire Division One last year and are more than holding their own top division with 3 wins from 7 starts.

Beverley ARLC Head Coach has warned his charges against any complacency after three wins on the bounce which has put them back in the mix following a run of tough opening fixtures.

Patterns are now starting to emerge. After the opening weeks of the season it would seem that Batley Boys and Siddal Academy are the teams to beat.

Taylor will have to make do without Luke Shaw who turned an ankle in training. Shaw has been one of a number of youngsters who have impressed in recent weeks. Work commitments will also deprive him of in form stand off half Lewis Straw.

On a brighter note will be added to the squad as will new signing .

Johnson makes a return to Beverley now aged 26 after playing for them as a teenager a number of years ago.
