A man sustained head injuries on a night out in the Market Place, Beverley around 3am on 30 April.
The 31 year-old Beverley man had been in Kubana Bar near to the Market Cross when he has alleged to have been assaulted, resulting in the head injuries.
The victim was wearing a blue jumper and navy quilted jacket.
Police are trying to establish the circumstances of the incident and would ask that if anyone has any information that would help with our enquiries to contact us on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference 2268470.
