Inspectors led by Senior HMI have found that ‘The educational experience pupils receive is remarkable… Pupil, parents and staff are rightly proud of this inclusive and harmonious school’.

The report says: ‘The school environment oozes vibrancy and stimulation. In every classroom corridor and corner of the school, there are jaw-dropping examples of pupils’ creativity and learning.’

Throughout the report, which can found on the school’s website, there are glowing references to the children’s hard work and effort: ‘Compelling evidence of pupils’ academic, sporting and artistic excellence litters the building and is testament to the high expectations of staff and pupils’ talents’

The quality of teaching and learning and outcomes for pupils have also been richly praised in the report.

Headteacher Mr. L. Myers said:

“I am incredibly proud that the children’s hard work, fearlessness and pride in their achievements and community has been recognised.”

“I believe the children have worked for it and earned it. We know they are outstanding. Now the Government and Her Majesty’s Inspectors know it too!”

“This is theirs to cherish and look back on, and remember that together they made their school one of the best in the country. If they can do that, what else can they go on to achieve?”

“I am particularly proud and pleased that children’s learning behaviours have been recognised so fully in the following ways: “Pupils are polite, considerate and respectful.”

“They have excellent attitudes to learning and the self-discipline to manage their behaviour well.”

“Pupils are self-motivated and focused. Pupils are a real credit to themselves, their parents and their school. They exude ambition and a deep commitment to learning.”
