This Easter holiday, school-aged children are invited to come along to East Riding Libraries for a hilarious egg themed storytime, ‘Cracking Easter Tales,’ which is FREE to attend.
Reading ‘Rabbits don’t lay eggs’ by Paula Metcalf and Cally Johnson-Isaacs, it’s a chance to follow Rupert the rabbit as he tries to fit in on the farm.
He can’t cock-a-doodle-do like a cockerel, and when he tries to lay an egg like Dora the Duck…it’s a disaster!
The sessions will feature a treasure hunt exploring all egg- laying animals, and fancy dress is always welcome.
Pre-school children are very welcome to join the ‘Easter Eggcitement’, which is also FREE to attend, reading ‘Peppa’s Easter Egg Hunt’, and featuring a fun hunt around the library.
