MP Visits Heron Foods, Supporting Local Businesses In Beverley

and Holderness MP Graham Stuart visited Heron Foods in Beverley last Friday 14 October.

Heron Foods Ltd is a British retail chain founded in 1979 and based in Melton with 243 stores including a branch on Toll Gavel in the centre of Beverley.

Speaking at the visit, Graham said:

“It is great to be here today to see this thriving local shop in action.”

“I have always been a huge supporter of local businesses like this one and I am delighted to see the shopping industry in Beverley doing so well, providing the best for customers and boosting the economy of the East Riding of Yorkshire.”

Mally Thornhill, Area Manager, said:

“It was a real pleasure meeting yesterday at the Beverley branch, as we know he has a busy schedule; and he took his time to get to know myself and John Oliver the Store Manager.”

“We welcomed him into the store and discussed products, price and what makes our customers come back week after week, and he was very impressed with our price and quality of products.”

“Graham had never been in a Heron Foods store before and could see the range we carry and that price was a great attraction to our customers.”

“We discussed parking prices in Beverley, the new shopping precinct and hopefully how he can work with us to help businesses move forward with future developments in Beverley.”
