Beverley Food Festival Set To Serve Up A Real Treat

Organisers of the Food Festival which takes place Sunday 2 October are set to serve up a real treat for what will be the 11th year the event has been held.

With numbers visiting the Food Festival set to be somewhere in the region of 20,000 people, Town Clerk, Helen Watson explained some of the benefits gained by staging the Beverley Food Festival, she said;

“It is important to keep Beverley alive and vibrant, the Food Festival and various other festivals in the town throughout the year help to support this ethos, whilst having a positive impact on the local economy.”

With a slight increase in the number of stalls it means there will be more local food and drink of all types for people to try and buy at the event.

New for this year is the The Eat In, Street Food Stalls that includes award winning Shoot the Bull, Beverley’s own 2 Chefs John Ben, Burts Pizza of Brandsburton, A Seafood and  Oyster Bar, Happy Hogs Roasts.

While throughout the day there will a demonstrations by some of the best local chefs along with food related presentations. Entertainment at the Food Festival will include BGT contestants the Garnett Sisters.

The 11th Beverley Food Festival takes place on Sunday 2 October from 10AM until 4PM.
