Three Nights Of Overnight Work This Week On A1035 Tickton Bridge

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is reminding motorists that it is to carry out overnight investigative work on Tickton Bridge, which carries the A1035 Beverley- Hornsea road over the River Hull, from Tuesday 12 July to Thursday 14 July, between 9pm and 5am. Between those times, traffic will be controlled by traffic signals.

The work is necessary, to inform potential future repair and maintenance works, which will safeguard the long term future of the bridge. At this stage, the council needs to carry out exploratory work only on the bridge.

An East Riding of Yorkshire Council spokesperson said:

“We apologise for any inconvenience or delays that these works will cause. They have been scheduled overnight in an attempt to minimise disruption to road users, and we ask for their patience during this brief period of overnight work.”
