Rebels’ Smokehouse Celebrate Three Years With Birthday Cake Burger

Rebels’ Smokehouse in Beverley have come up with a monster ‘Birthday Cake Burger’ as they mark three years of smoking meat in the town.

Customers will be able to join in the celebrations by taking on the challenge on special burger which goes on sale from Friday at their Toll Gavel based restaurant.

A spokesperson for Rebels explained, they said;

“This weekend we are celebrating our 3rd Birthday, 1096 days of smoking meat.”

“So to celebrate we decided to come up with something quite epic that fitted the occasion and includes some great BBQ which will be available all weekend from Friday.”

“The Birthday Cake Burger is quite possibly our most insane creation yet.”

“It’s made up from 3 Bacon Cheeseburgers, our 16h BBQ Pulled Pork, 16h Smoked Brisket smothered with aged cheese sauce served inside of a Victoria Sponge Cake topped off with melted Marshmallows.”

“It is a pretty big challenge which can easily be shared between two people or for any cavemen or cavewomen out there if you fancy taking it on alone go for it, you might get your photo placed on our wall of fame.”

Since opening it has been a busy time for the business with their own research making some interesting revelations about the food they have sold.

They say;

“It’s been a mad 3 years since we opened, with some incredible creations coming from the kitchen.”

“We have seen many people attempt our challenges, some fail spectacularly others come out victorious.”

“We were just doing some calculations into some figures for the last 3 years and discovered we have served up over 187,200 burgers, and smoked up 390 TONNES of meat in our smokers… that’s the rough equivalent of 5 Airbus A320 aircraft.”
