Blue & Golds Will Look To Get Back To Winning Ways This Saturday

The blue and golds will look to get back to winning ways this Saturday. Mirfield Stags are the visitors to the Beverley Leisure Centre.

Mirfield are a side that have struggled a little bit this season following their elevation to the premier division alongside Beverley.

Richard Silverwood’s men from the West Riding find themselves second to bottom of the table. However, Pat Howdle and Scott Taylor will be taking nothing for granted.

Currently lying fourth in the table, it is still very much in Beverley’s hands as to whether they can make the end of season play-offs and a stab at getting to the final at Castleford.

This would be a major achievement in Beverley’s first year in the premier division.

Beverley will have to manage without both Poskitts, Jack Humphries, Sam Roe and Ryan Watkin. On the plus side they are boosted by the return of Tom Radley, Bobby Howdle, Pete Starling, Glen Anfield and Jake Hart Fisher.

There will be two games at the Beverley Leisure Centre this Saturday. Beverley ‘A’ will take on Myton ‘A’ at 12.30pm followed by Beverley v Mirfield Stags kicking off at 2.30PM.
