Beverley Grammar School Army Cadets have expressed their thanks to shoppers after they raised over £700 packing shopping at the Tesco store in Beverley.
The cadets will now use the money to help fund equipment and also to help pay a planned trip to Europe later in the year.
Commenting on the bag pack Detachment Commander Jamey Parkinson said;
“I would like all the customers at Tesco for their generosity.”
“We managed to raise an astounding £728 which will be going towards the cadets’ trip to Germany this summer.”
“It will also go towards new camping equipment for the detachment’s expedition weekends.”
