Beverley Braves U15s were knocked out of the cup as they lost their semi final encounter with the Lambwath Lions 8 – 0 at the Beverley Leisure Centre.
A first half try followed up with a penalty in the second period were enough to ensure it was the visitors who progressed through to the final.
In tough match the Braves did manage to get the ball over the line though were unable to ground it. With both sides giving it 100pc tempers did flare up.
Beverley lost a man who was shown a red card while during the second period they were often hampered with players being sent to the sin bin as their frustration grew.
Physically the Lions were the bigger side, they enjoyed more of the ball though the pace of Braves did cause their opponents some trouble.
