Civic Dinner At East Riding College is a Community Affair

Cllr Peter Astell hosted his Civic Dinner at in Beverley.

Attended by 70 guests including Deputy Lieutenant , High Sheriff and Vice Principle of the College where they enjoyed a meal that was made and cooked by students from the Catering Department.

Students also came up the table decorations that were themed in the colours of the Tour de Yorkshire which will start on the 29 April in Beverley.

Cllr Peter Astell said;

“I was delighted to hold my Civic Dinner at East Riding College in celebration of the Queen’s 90th Birthday.”

“It is such a busy time in Beverley and we have a vibrant community pulling together to makes things happen, especially with the Tour de Yorkshire stage 1 starting in Beverley next week.”

“Beverley Town Council are most grateful to all the involved at the College who have worked on the Civic Dinner.”
