The afternoon will include Beverley Race’s own tribute to the Queen’s birthday celebrations.

To celebrate the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II, Hull Det. A (Yorkshire) Squadron of the Queens Own Yeomanry will be visiting the course for a reinstating of the Yeomanry race held some years ago.

There will be a selection of their modern day armoured vehicles for race goers to explore. Troops will also be drilling on course alongside riders in original Yeomanry mounted uniform.

Punters will get to join a rousing chorus of the National Anthem before the Yeomanry riders take runners down to the start and the race gets underway to celebrate the birthday of one of racing’s greatest supporters.
