Hull & East Riding Karate Academy Thanks Tesco

A local martial arts club have thanked both shoppers and Tesco after a fund raiser held in the store saw them bag over £400.

Tesco welcomed the Hull & East Riding Karate Academy to bag pack in their Beverley store on Morton Lane which proved to be a great success.

Academy Fundraising Officer Wendy Pedder said;

“Thanks to the generosity of Tesco customers we raised £474.86 in just 4 hours which is amazing.”

“The money will be used to pay for our teams to compete at forthcoming competitions up and down the country and we are extremely grateful to have been given this opportunity.”
