Eyesite Opticians Nominated For UK Dispensing Optician Of The Year

Sophie Johnson of Eyesite Opticians has been nominated for UK Dispensing Optician of The Year at The Optician Awards 2016. Sophie is the only person from Yorkshire on the shortlist, and also the only female to make it to this stage.

Sophie, 29 years old, has been in Optics since the age of 16. Starting out in the Laboratory, Sophie quickly followed in the footsteps of her mother, Carol, who founded Eyesite 30 years ago. Sophie is currently the manager at Eyesite’s Beverley store, and has been a qualified dispensing optician since 2012.

Well respected and widely thought of as the go-to person for the best eyewear style advice in Yorkshire, Sophie has gained an ever-growing list of private and celebrity clients. Sophie’s hard work and passion for delivering exceptional customer service has gained praise from some of the biggest and well-respected names in high-end fashion.

Eyesite Opticians has previously won Fashion Practice of The Year 2011, Optical Assistant Team of The Year 2012 and Luxury Eyewear Retailer 2013. Award winners will be announced this year at a black tie dinner taking place in Birmingham, Saturday 9th April 2016.
