Molescroft Parish Council say there were delighted to receive help from 399 (Beverley) Squadron Air Cadets who helped plant trees at the at the Pavillion.
All the Cadets rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in digging holes and planting 23 saplings.
Six cadets came along, well-equipped to do the job to help as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award.
Cllr Jackie Heffer said;
“The new trees look splendid alongside the pavilion. It is lovely to see such enthusiastic young people giving of their time, we are grateful for all their help.”
“We wish them well in the future.”
Cllr Heffer and Cllr Mac Fleming are Youth Liaison Councillors for Molescroft Parish Council.
The cadets were accompanied by two officers from the Corps who were clearly proud of the work done by their team.
