New Business Millie's Of Beverley Opens On Toll Gavel

A new family business called Millie’s of that provides a takeaway service selling coffee, sandwiches and treats opened this week in Beverley.

Business owner Quentin Wilson who grew up in Beverley said it is fantastic to finally open a retail business in the town he regards as his home.

Products which are sold Millie’s of Beverley are sourced from local bakers and suppliers as Mr Wilson looks to do his bit to support the local economy.

Speaking about his new venture Mr Wilson said;

“Having our own shop is something that has been on my mind for some time now, and I felt as I’m not getting any younger that the time was right to just get on and do it.”

“My wife and I have a long-established career in retail, and we felt the time was right for us to leave our previous employer and open our own shop.”

“As we are a family business we wanted to reflect that as much as possible so we named our business after our two-year-old daughter Millie.”

“Having lived in Beverley for the past 27 years it feels right we chose to open a shop here in this town.”

Mr. Wilson says that feedback from customers been very positive since they opened, he said;

“I have been really please with what people have been saying when they visit the shop.”

“We have had really positive feedback from customers who have come through our doors, and we are slowly building a base of returning customers, which is half the battle in this business.”

Located on Toll Gavel, Millie’s of Beverley trades from the premises that used to be Fluers de Lisa, and they are open seven days a week.

Millie’s of Beverley is opening times are Monday through to Saturday, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4 PM while on Sundays the shop is open from 10 AM to 3 PM

My work colleague and I was working in Beverly the other week and had a short work to find a sandwich shop, stumbled across Millie’s both got a hot sandwich but to find it ice cold I was disappointed in this service not to mention they don’t do eggs !!!! What sandwich shop doesn’t. We both got a bun from there and it was faultless

  2. Overpriced and the food is poor quality. Customer service was appalling. Won’t be visiting here again!
