High-End Health Food Restaurant Filmore & Union Opening In Beverley

Healthy eaters can rejoice as from the 29th February 2016, Beverley will have its very own branch of Filmore & Union!

The highly anticipated restaurant will be situated in the heart of Beverley on and will be open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even cocktails!

Filmore & Union was founded in 2012 by Adele Ashley, a former wellness clinic owner who was feeling frustrated at the lack of healthy and nourishing take-out options in her local area. Since then the company has exploded, and is now eight restaurants covering Harrogate, Skipton, Ilkley, Wetherby and Leeds, with Beverley being their ninth!

Filmore & Union prides itself on its cutting edge approach to healthy food and have become market leaders in providing delicious food to suit all dietary requirements, with all menus boasting a range of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free meals.

In fact, last year Filmore & Union were delighted to announce the move to an entirely gluten free cake menu. With an emphasis on only using fresh, seasonal and innovative clean food, Filmore & Union has been an instant hit across Yorkshire and has built up a large following both on and off-line.

Originally starting as a deli and café focusing on healthy lunches and take-out food, Filmore & Union has transformed into a fully-fledged restaurant. The evening menu boasts a tempting array of main meals including seared tuna, fillet steak and a selection of highly Instagram-ready sharing boards.

At the end of last year Filmore installed cocktail bars, selling a wide range of cocktails in their Wetherby, Harrogate and Ilkley branches and they are really excited about opening their fourth cocktail bar in the upcoming Beverley restaurant.

Owner Adele Ashley commented:

“We have wanted to open a restaurant in Beverley for a long time and we are really excited that it’s finally happening.

“It is really important for us to try and keep everything completely fresh and that all of our food is cooked by our chefs on site at each restaurant.

“We are not just a vegetarian restaurant, we offer a full menu with excellent steak and fish options as well, along with a brilliant cocktail menu.”

Filmore & Union believe they have cracked the dieting conundrum and simply state that being healthy isn’t about what you don’t eat, but precisely what you do eat. By only serving the freshest and most nutritious products possible, from their fresh salads, locally grown beef to their mouth-watering cake selection they ensure that customers just keep coming back!

Filmore’s expansion isn’t stopping at Beverley though and Adele envisages that the chain will expand into East Yorkshire, Manchester and the North West by the end of 2016.

The Beverley Branch of Filmore & Union will be opening on February 29th at 31 Saturday Market, Beverley (formerly the Sugarbird boutique) and will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner options for people of all ages to enjoy.
