Accountant Takes On Great Wall Of China For Alzheimer’s Society

Beverley and Hull based chartered accountant, Tracy Hutty from cbaSadofskys has taken on the challenge of trekking the Great Wall of China to raise £3,350 in aid of Alzheimer’s Society, this October.

The trek involves six days trekking the contours of hills and mountains on remote sections of the Great Wall and historical sites of the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and Beijing.

Tracy says:

“Anyone who knows me well will appreciate that I am not a great fan of exercise and so this will be a real challenge for me, however I am in training and really looking forward to the challenge ahead of me.”

“I am urged on because over the past few years I have seen people affected by this disease and at the end of last year it was mentioned to me just how supportive the Alzheimer’s Society has been to a client of mine.”

“During the New Year celebrations details of this challenge appeared on my Facebook page and it seemed like the right thing to do, but given the genuine challenge for me to get fit enough to complete this I thought long and hard before signing up, and encouraged by my family decided to give it a go.”

Tracy has the full support of her team behind her and everyone at cbaSadofskys is very proud for taking this on. , Director of cbaSadofskys says:

“I have worked with Tracy for 20 years and was surprised to hear that she would be taking part in such a gruelling challenge, however, she is showing great determination and has started her training by walking around the hills and dales on Melton and Welton.”

“We are all very proud of Tracy and wish her the best of luck. She will be raising £3,350 for the Alzheimer’s Society and hope her boots are well worn in by October.”
