Leeds East MP Is The Toast Of Beverley

Richard Burgon MP represents Leeds East. He’s also a key member of Jeremy Corbyn’s economic team and he’s the special guest at this year’s Burns Night celebration in Beverley.

Speaking about the event, Beverley Labour’s George McManus said;

“We’re delighted that Richard is coming to this year’s event. Richard is a rising star in Labour’s team and has been a key supporter of Jeremy Corbyn.”

He went on,

“However, Burns Night is a celebration of Robert Burns. Whilst all proceeds go to the Labour Party, its not about politics.”

“We’ll have bagpipes, haggis and a ceilidh so supporters and non supporters are welcome to what promises to be a great night out.”

This year’s event will be on Saturday 23 January at the Memorial Hall in Beverley.
