Between 5pm and 6pm on Monday January 11 a detached cottage on Ratten Row, Bishop Burton near Beverley was entered via an unlocked back door and jewellery boxes, watches and a makeup stolen from a bedroom.
It is thought the cottage may have been watched by the alleged burglar, before seizing the opportunity to enter the house covertly.
Some of the rare jewellery pieces stolen included a red ruby stone wedding ring, a Michael Kors ladies tortoise twisted chain watch in rose gold MK4269, a Michael Kors ladies black steel slim runway three hand glitz watch MK3318 a men’s Rado watch, and makeup accessories, totalling thousands of pounds.
If anyone believes they know the whereabouts of the jewellery or has any information in connection with the burglary, please call Humberside Police on 101, quoting log number 391 of 11/1/16.
