Police Appeal Following Handbag Theft in Beverley

A 90-year-old Beverley woman was shopping on Dyer Lane in Beverley at around 1pm on 3 December.

She was stopped by a man and a woman in the street who engaged her in conversation. The man distracted her while the woman is alleged to have taken the elderly woman’s handbag out of her shopping trolley.
