Staff from the new Premier Inn Hotel in Beverley have been lending a hand in the community by supporting events hosted by Beverley Town Council.
Operations Manager, Elaine Broom for the new Premier Inn at Flemingate approached Beverley Town Council offering their services on an ongoing voluntary basis.
Speaking to HU17.net Elaine said;
“I have always had a real passion about working with and supporting the local community as do the members of my team and we are looking forward to being involved on an ongoing basis.”
“So far we have been helped with a couple of events which have proved valuable in helping us all bond as a team while putting something back into the local community.”
Staff who from the Premier Inn which opens on the 20 November have helped with a special banquet and also provided catering for Council’s guests on Remembrance Sunday.
Commenting on the their efforts Town Clerk Helen Watson said;
“Beverley Town Council are delighted to be working with Elaine and the new team at the Premier Inn, Beverley.”
“The team helped with the recent Beverley – Agincourt 600 Medieval Banquet at Beverley Minster and also serving soup, hot drinks and food at the Remembrance Day refreshments at St Mary’s Parish Hall, both events were organised by Beverley Town Council.”
“A huge ‘Thank You’ goes to the team, who were brilliant and so helpful. It was great to have their support for two Beverley Town Council community events.”
“We look forward to working with them in the future and wish them all well for the opening of the Premier Inn, Beverley.”
When open the Premier Inn Beverley Town Centre will feature 80 new-generation bedrooms, each featuring an impressive 40″ flat screen TV, bright, modern bathroom with a large shower head and slumber-inducing, king-size Hypnos bed.
