Visitors are invited to drop in to Beverley Art Gallery, take inspiration from their exhibition ‘Modern Art on the Table’, and get sketching to take part in the world’s biggest drawing festival, The Big Draw!
Art Gallery curator Gerardine Mulcahy-Parker said: “The theme for The Big Draw this year is ‘Every Drawing Tells a Story’ – so what better venue than the Art Gallery?
“The Treasure House is full of stories, from the library, to the East Riding Archives, through to the Exhibition and Beverley Art Gallery, or you can create your own spooky Halloween story! “
A tutor will be on hand to give tips and ideas – no experience necessary! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The event is free and all materials are provided but a suggested donation of £1 per adult or family will be welcomed.
