Beavers Will Need To Be At Their Best For Trip To Dunnington

RUFC continue the search for their first win when they make a rare visit to Dinnington for the North 1 (East) match this Saturday (Kick off 3.p.m.).

Although they have yet to record a win this season, have begun to improve week by week and look to be finding a more settled side and as they do so confidence beginning to show in the squad.

Head Coach Simon Cowling is working hard to help to instill this and is confident that the side is moving in the right direction on the pitch.

Training numbers are improving as the season progresses as players, new and old, sense that the hard work is looking like paying off .

The main area of concern is that the forwards, whilst being considerably outweighed every week, are generally more than holding their own but it is a worry as to how long this can continue without beginning to incur injuries.

With such a small squad, beefing up this area would obviously reduce this worry.

Dinnington are likely to be strong in the forwards and the Beavers will need to be at their best to gain any reward. However, providing that the improvement continues, they could well come away with the points.

Selection will be from the following players :-

M.Hatfield, M.Shaw, A.Meagher, A.McPeake, D.Brant, J.Bunn, J.Hart-Fisher, A.Rowbotham, P.Duboulay, T.Shires, P.Chromie, M.Killgannon, A.Ienco, A.McLatchie, R.DeKock, S.Roe, C.Pape, J.Tupai, C.Hancock
