Beverley Athletic Clubs’s third College Canter cross-country race is now open for entries. Held at Bishop Burton College on Sunday 27th September, challenging and undulating 7 and 3 mile off-road races are on offer.
There is an extensive prize list, and all finishers of the 7 mile race receive a bottle of Wold Top beer.
This year’s race is sponsored by Pittaway Painting & Decorating Contractors, based in Hull. Graeme Pittaway, Managing Director, is delighted to be associated with the event.
“It is a privilege to be supporting the race this year, having participated in the previous two years. The course is a challenging one and it’s a unique opportunity to tackle some of our local, rolling countryside that is otherwise closed to the general public for the rest of the year.” he said.
Reflecting on entering a work team, Graeme added “Our team has been getting rather competitive about it already!”
